What is the difference between Qualification, Validation& Commissioning ??
1 Answer
Validation is a prospective and confirmatory exercise.
The difference between qualification and validation is that equipment is individually qualified, and the system or process is validated.
In this sense, qualification is part of validation
ISPE Baseline® Guide defines “commissioning” as:
”A well planned, documented, and managed engineering
approach to the start-up and turnover of facilities, systems, and equipment to the
End-User that results in a safe and functional environment that meets established
design requirements and stakeholder expectations.”
